I went grocery shopping today! Man, it’s going to feel good to not just eat leftovers. I got food for about 2 breakfast, lunch, and dinner recipes each. It’s pretty expensive to eat paleo and if I decide to keep doing it I’ll definitely need to budget it better.
Day 9 Ratings:
Energy: 6/10 (1 being dead tired; 10 being off the walls energetic)
- I was a bit tired waking up this morning and then around 7pm I hit another wall. I think a lot of this has to do with how busy I’ve been with the holidays. I hope to get back to a regular-ish schedule here in the next couple of days.
Mood: 7/10 (1 being very sad; 10 being overjoyed)
- No changes in mood; I think I’ll just take this rating out. I expected more of an effect on my mood from the diet.
Quality of Workout: 6.5/10 (1 being a horrible workout; 10 being a fantastic workout)
- It was a hard workout, that’s for sure. I was just really disappointed in how many reps I got for the squat clean and jerks. I didn’t push myself mentally enough because I definitely was physically capable of doing more. The burpees box jumps I’m happy with- I set a goal for 50 and got exactly that. I was able to push myself through the last 20 second sprint to reach that goal.
Hunger: 9/10 (1 being starving throughout day; 10 being fully satiated)
- I was hardly hungry at all today, it was weird. I think it had to do with not wanting to eat leftovers again and wanting to try something new.
I’m pretty happy with how today went. My weight is beginning to regulate itself and I still feel good about eating paleo (other than being a little tired).
