For dinner today I went to the Hy-Vee buffet with a friend from undergrad. 

Dinner:

  • Salad with: spinach, banana peppers, red peppers, chicken, crab meat
  • Mixed vegetables: green peppers, red peppers, carrots, broccoli, cauliflower
  • Strawberries, blueberries, blackberries

It all tasted pretty good but wasn’t as filling as I would’ve liked. I should have added more protein. It was really hard going to a buffet that had a bunch of different food (Italian, Chinese) and only getting a salad. The Chinese food was calling my name, but I survived it.
